Lagos Police Commissioner Visits Air Force Base to Mourn Igbokoda Aircraft Crash Victims

Tijani Fatai, the Commissioner of Police for the Lagos State Command, has paid a visit to the Sam Ethnan Air Force Base in Lagos to offer his condolences to the Nigerian Air Force following the fatal 931 aircraft accident in Igbokoda, Ondo State, which claimed the lives of both crew members and passengers.

In a statement issued on Thursday by the Lagos State Police Command spokesperson, SP Abimbola Adebisi, the visit was described as a show of solidarity and sympathy with the Nigerian Air Force and the families of the deceased.

Fatai paid the condolence visit to the Commander, 651 Base, Air Commodore M. A. Imam, where he expressed sympathy over the tragic incident.

The Commissioner of Police prayed for “strength and comfort for the bereaved families, colleagues and the entire Nigerian Air Force community.”
