SEC Moves 2026 Capital Market Conference Venue

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has shifted the location for its upcoming 2026 National Capital Market Conference, moving the high-profile gathering away from the Presidential Villa’s Banquet Hall in Abuja to the Afreximbank African Trade Centre (AATC) situated within the city’s Central Business District.

The conference, scheduled for Monday, October 19, 2026, will begin at 10 a.m., with participants expected to be seated by 9:30 a.m.

It will feature the launch of the Nigeria Capital Market Master Plan 2026–2036 (NCMMP 2.0).

Other highlights include the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding among the SEC, Financial Sector Deepening Africa (FSDA) and the Nigeria Revenue Service on fiscal incentives for national savings.
