Pronto Microsystems Technologies Limited (PMTL), a Nigerian Army-owned technology company, is strengthening Nigeria’s capacity to produce indigenous communication equipment for the Armed Forces and the general public.

Established in April 2019, the company commenced commercial operations in January 2022 from its production facility at the Nigerian Army Signals Barracks, Mile 2.

PMTL said its core mandate is to promote local production and provide reliable communication solutions driven by innovation and research.

“We are committed to delivering cutting-edge radio communication solutions through innovation, research and development, in line with evolving technological advancements,” the company said.

PMTL provides services including system design and development, sales and installation, maintenance and technical support, training and consultancy.

The company said it has specialised expertise in Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) technology, including DMR repeaters and communication infrastructure.

“Our solutions are designed for seamless integration, enabling multiple DMR repeaters to work with existing radio communication networks,” PMTL said.

The company also highlighted cost-effectiveness, ease of maintenance and responsive after-sales support as key features of its services.

“Being indigenous, reliable and responsive enables us to provide solutions tailored to Nigeria’s operational and commercial requirements,” it said.

PMTL said it provides round-the-clock customer support and timely delivery of its products and services.

The company said its operations are guided by four core values: excellence, integrity, innovation and customer-centred service.

“PMTL represents indigenous technology, reliable communication and national capability,” the company said.
