Plans are underway for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to inaugurate its National Campaign Council, issue Certificates of Return to qualified candidates, and officially open its newly secured national office in Abuja on Monday, October 26.
The party announced the activities in a press statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Osa Director, Esq., on Sunday, 25 October, outlining three major events scheduled for the day.
According to the statement, the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) will meet at 10:00 am at the JD Vance Centre, opposite A-Class Park, Kashim Ibrahim Way, Maitama, Abuja.
The meeting will be followed by the commissioning of the party’s new national secretariat in Jabi, Abuja, at 2:00 pm.
The party will then inaugurate its National Campaign Council (NCC) at 5:00 pm, alongside the presentation of Certificates of Return to its candidates. A dinner will follow the inauguration.
The NDC said attendance at the NEC meeting would be restricted to members of the committee, with admission strictly by invitation.
It also stated that participation in the NCC inauguration would be limited to members of the National Working Committee (NWC), the party’s presidential candidate and running mate, governorship candidates and National Assembly candidates.
The party expressed appreciation to its members nationwide for their continued support and loyalty, reiterating its commitment to its political vision.
“Together, we can make a New Nigeria Possible,” the statement said.
