The federal government has begun the repairs of the expansion joints on the lagos-ibadan expressway.

As early as 8.30 am, construction workers from CBC were on site to begin the demarcation of the road.

Men from the federal road safety corp, the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, TRACE, as well as the Nigerian police were on hand to render assistance where necessary.

The repairs of the expansion joints on the expressway have been long coming as the government has, at various times, postponed this work owing to traffic concerns.
