To boost operational efficiency and enhance road safety services across Zamfara State, the state government has handed over two newly refurbished vehicles to the Federal Road Safety Corps.
The vehicles were presented by the Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Lawal Barau Bungudu, alongside the Acting Permanent Secretary, Engr. Amiru Musa Anka, and officials of the ministry’s Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
Speaking during the presentation, Anka said the intervention reflected Gov. Dauda Lawal’s commitment to supporting security and emergency-response agencies through improved operational capacity.

He said the vehicles would enhance the corps’ operational capacity and improve its road safety activities across the state.
The intervention is part of the state government’s efforts to strengthen the capacity of security agencies and improve emergency-response services.
