Tinubu Charges APC Campaign Council To Secure 2027 Victory

President Bola Tinubu has officially launched the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, directing all members to unite and drive the party toward comprehensive success in the 2027 general elections.

At the inauguration, Tinubu thanked members for their efforts so far but stressed the need for a united campaign focused on winning across the country.

He said winning “at all levels, from the polling booths to the wards and states” was the party’s only option.

The President also commended Vice President Kashim Shettima for his leadership and service to the country, praising his “sagacity in the course of his service to Nigeria and Nigerians”.

Tinubu described women as “the greatest mobilisers” and urged them to intensify efforts to ensure the APC’s victory.

He said the party’s success would also support his administration’s efforts to establish reserved seats for women in leadership, an initiative aimed at improving women’s representation in elected positions.

The President further expressed confidence in the proposed establishment of state police, vowing that the initiative “will be a success”.

The inauguration marks a key step in the APC’s preparations for the 2027 general election, as the ruling party seeks to strengthen its campaign structure and secure another term for Tinubu.
