On the occasion of his birthday, President Bola Tinubu has extended warm congratulations to prominent businessman and philanthropist Chief Dotun Jubril Sanusi, while praising his valuable contributions to youth empowerment and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State.
Tinubu also praised Sanusi for his philanthropy, business achievements and support for his community in Ibadan and the wider Oyo State.
The President’s message was contained in a statement on Saturday, October 17, by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
Tinubu described Sanusi as a loyal member of the APC who had been mobilising support for the party ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
The President also acknowledged Sanusi’s career in the oil industry, where he worked with multinational companies, including Halliburton, Saipem, Hanover and Beckfield, before founding TNL Drilling Services.
Sanusi also chairs Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort in Ibadan.
Tinubu commended his contributions to education and sports, particularly through the establishment of ICAST School and Ilaji Soccer Academy.
“Chief Sanusi, as a businessman of note, you have demonstrated compassion, generosity and an unwavering commitment to humanity, giving back to your community roots, Ibadan and Oyo State at large,” the President said.
He added that Sanusi’s initiatives had helped create opportunities for young people, describing the soccer academy as “a fertile ground to develop soccer talents for recruitment by Spanish and Maltese teams.”
Tinubu further described the celebrant as “an exemplary son of Ibadan and indeed of Oyo State whose humility and kindness continue to be admired by everyone who meets you.”
The President also expressed appreciation for Sanusi’s support for the APC, saying, “I appreciate your invaluable contributions to our party and your unalloyed personal support.”
He prayed for the celebrant’s continued good health, greater accomplishments and more years of service to humanity.
“As you celebrate your birthday today, I pray that Almighty God will continue to grant you good health, greater accomplishments and many more fulfilling years of service to humanity,” Tinubu said.
