BBNaija Season 11: Yusuf Announces Return to Farming and Acting After Reality Show

Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Yusuf Muhammad-Awal has announced his intention to dive back into agriculture following his time on the reality show, emphasizing that farming remains a core priority in his life.

Yusuf disclosed this in an exclusive interview with TVC News Online, on Tuesday, October 6, where he spoke about his plans after leaving the BBNaija house.

The former housemate said he intends to combine his entertainment career with farming, writing and public speaking.

“Before going into the house, I was an actor. So expect me to go and dominate the world of acting. Writing, public speaking, farming,” Yusuf said.

He described farming as more than a new venture, noting that he was born into a farming family and studied agriculture.

“Because I was also a farmer, I’m still a farmer. So going back into that and exploring new things,” he said.

“I was born into a farm. I studied agric. I’m a student of agric.”

Yusuf revealed that he has already established an integrated fish farm in Abuja, where fish production is combined with poultry farming.

“And I started a fish farm in Abuja. Integrated fish farming. So you have the fishes underneath. And then you have poultry underneath,” he explained.

He also disclosed that he operates another farm in Kogi State, where he cultivates various tubers.

“I also have a farm in Kogi State, where I grow tubers like cassava, yam, and potatoes during that season,” Yusuf said.

While his participation in BBNaija has given him a wider platform in the entertainment industry, Yusuf said agriculture remains an area he intends to continue exploring alongside his other interests.

He also reflected on his time in the reality show, describing the experience as “beautiful” and acknowledging that he had several confrontations with fellow housemates.

Yusuf said he would have avoided some of the conversations he engaged in during his time in the house, noting that some discussions did not present the full perspective of those involved.
