Renowned Nigerian-British actor John Boyega has announced the birth of his first child alongside his wife, American actress Lashontae “Tae” Heckard, coming just months after he publicly disclosed their secret marriage.
The 34-year-old actor announced the baby’s arrival on Instagram, sharing a video of himself cradling the newborn alongside photographs taken during Heckard’s pregnancy.
Boyega disclosed that their child had been with them “for some time” and thanked fans for their congratulatory messages.
“Back to feeding this big baby!” he wrote.
The actor also used the announcement to ask fans to extend their good wishes to his sister, who he revealed was preparing to give birth.
Heckard responded to the post with an affectionate message, writing, “Love and blessings to my Blessing.”
