Tech firm targets youth with free transfers, launches Southwest expansion drive

As part of a new strategy to attract young users and expand its footprint across the Southwest, digital financial services platform Kolomoni has introduced free money transfers for customers aged 25 and under.

The incentive, unveiled during the launch of the company’s “Take Control with Kolomoni” campaign, is expected to reduce transaction costs for young Nigerians and encourage greater adoption of digital financial services. The free transfer offer is subject to terms and conditions.

The company also announced the appointment of Nollywood actor Odunlade Adekola, comedian Ayo Ajewole (popularly known as Woli Agba), and entertainer Adeyemo Enoch (also known as Baba Alariya) as its South-West brand ambassadors to drive awareness and customer engagement in the region.

According to him, the company has continued to evolve in response to changing customer needs by developing products for individuals, businesses and organisations.

Samirah Ade-Adebiyi, Managing Director of Kolomoni, said the platform was built to provide secure, accessible and user-friendly financial services across customer segments.
