FG Launches Fleet of 1,500 CNG Buses in Lagos and Abuja to Slash Transport Fares

In a decisive move to mitigate post-subsidy economic hardships, the Federal Government has officially commissioned 1,500 Compressed Natural Gas mass transit buses across Lagos and Abuja. Minister of Transportation Sa’idu Alkali stated that this initiative will reduce intra-city transport costs by up to 50 percent while promoting cleaner energy alternatives. State governors have promised swift deployment along major high-traffic corridors to ease daily commutes for millions of urban workers.
