Nollywood actor Henry Anslem Anuku, popularly known as Hanks Anuku, has urged Nigerians to be patient with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying the country’s current challenges did not begin with the present administration.
In a video shared via Instagram, he said Nigerians were being too quick to blame President Tinubu for the country’s problems, arguing that previous administrations also played a role.
“Nigerians should be patient with Tinubu because he’s doing great, we’re too much in a hurry.
The country was not spoilt by him, there were people before him, why don’t they go and attack those people?
The devil we know is better than the angel we don’t.”
The actor made the remarks during an appearance on The HonestBunch Podcast, where he discussed the state of the country and the criticism directed at the Tinubu administration.
Anuku argued that Nigerians should consider the problems inherited by the current government rather than attributing the country’s difficulties solely to President Tinubu.
