Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 11 has introduced a new twist called ‘The Gambit’, reshaping gameplay in the house.
During the launch week, host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced the twist, describing it as a high-stakes decision that guarantees one male and one female housemate a place in the grand finale.
However, this privilege comes with a major trade-off, as they automatically become ineligible to win the season’s N160 million grand prize.
Instead of voting to evict in week 1, viewers voted to decide who becomes The Gambit.
Flora and Aikou emerged as this season’s Gambits.

1. Guaranteed Finale Spot: Selected housemates are safe until the very last day. No matter what happens, they will be in the finale.
2. No Eviction Risk: They cannot be voted out or eliminated through nominations. The stress of “am I safe this week?” is gone.
